How's it going out there in Oppoland, today? I welcome you back to The Joy Of Shooping, and today we're gonna make some more progress on our shoops. We last lead off with the top red parts completed and we are continuing to add to it.

Kinja'd!!!

We'll start off today by continuing the process of cutting shapes out, pasting them back in, and giving them a new look. As you can see, I moved onto the black. After that, we go to the next color.

Kinja'd!!!

We recolor this green part here, and if any you intrepid shoopers out there noticed, I did a little bit more. Can you see what I did? You're right! I started the next tip to help you through your project. I traced out some shading and colored it in black. On any of our lighter colors, black is the perfect thing to bring out any body lines.

Kinja'd!!!

And white is good for body lines on darker colors. On medium colors, feel free to experiment with using black lines for shading and white lines for highlighting. Things are going to speed up a little bit here, because I feel like we're getting the feel of this particular shoop.

Kinja'd!!!

After we add in some more colors, I'll show you one more helpful hint to make your shoops a little easier, it'll just be our little secret. Start by tracing out an area that is the same color as your background and then simply delete it.

Kinja'd!!!

Oh, don't worry, that little fellow isn't gone forever. The background will take its place and save you some time. Don't do it to all of the white parts just yet though, this is just in spots surrounded by other colors. it'll save you from unnecessary tracing later on. I have one more helpful hint to share, after we finish up the rest of the colors here in the cockpit.

Kinja'd!!!

That's looking great! Now, when you come across body lines, don't be afraid to thicken some parts of the lines to give it a little more character.

Kinja'd!!!

Every now and then, it's good to take a step back and look at your work, just to see how it's going. I think this one is going pretty good. I look forward to seeing you in the next part of The Joy Of Shooping !
